Meeting the Daily Requirement to Eat Whole Grains

The whole grain diet standard according to macrobiotics has been eating pressure cooked brown rice. What the Archangels are saying is that if you would cook this brown rice cereal for breakfast, you've fulfilled your requirement to be eating whole grains daily.

Brown Rice Cereal

1 cup short grain brown rice

5 cups water

2 tablespoon oats or oatmeal (optional)

1/4 teaspoon salt

Boil then simmer overnight to make breakfast cereal. You can use a rice cooker that has a warm option or leave it on simmer overnight.
